Yates Baker

Prior to founding Nautical Talent Solutions, Yates was a Partner at Chasm Partners and General Manager of Chasm’s RPO division, ChasmTeam.  ChasmTeam was a scalable RPO solution catering to investor-backed healthcare companies. Under his leadership Chasm scaled their RPO business 400% across 3 years.

Prior to Chasm, Yates was the Vice President of Client Solutions at Sevenstep, a pure play RPO provider offering Talent Solutions, Employer Branding, and Advisory services to middle market and F500 clients across the globe. In addition, Yates held various executive roles at KellyOCG and IBM Kenexa in RPO Delivery, Solution Design and Sales. He brings deep expertise in designing and managing complex outsourced recruitment solutions.

Yates holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Appalachian State University and holds certifications as an Enterprise Design Thinking Coach and Practitioner from IBM.

Yates is a native of Raleigh, North Carolina, where he resides with his wife and their two children.
